Modlin Fortress is a unique place. The biggest fortification in Europe, built by the French, Russians and Poles lies at the picturesque confluence of the Vistula River and the Narew River. The history of Modlin Fortress is not only an example of military tactics of the aforementioned nations, but also an eye-witness of the wars which took place in the territory of Poland.
